Youth Programs



The ABK (American Baptist Kids) is geared to children in grades 3-5. ABY (American Baptist Youth) is for youth in grades 6-12. Both groups meet Sunday evenings throughout the school year. A meal is served at 5:30 and all age groups enjoy this time of fellowship together. At 6:00, the groups break off for separate activities. ABY Jr.(grades 6-8) and ABY Sr.(grades 9-12) often meet jointly and then split up for a time of discussion.
About once each monther there is an additional afternoon activity. This is often recreational, but sometimes involves community service.
Throughout the summer each group schedules different activities, but the Sunday night meetings are suspended.
